WENTWORTH Castle's lone ranger is seeking volunteers to help him look after the 600 acre Stainborough estate.
Paul Evison has recently been given the job of community parkland officer and wants to recruit conservation and ranger volunteers with a passion for wildlife and the environment.
Paul said: “I am indeed ‘the lone ranger’, undertaking jobs in the parkland and monitoring wildlife on my own. It is an incredibly beautiful estate and there is the exciting potential to offer people the opportunity to get directly involved with wildlife, helping to preserve their habitats, lead walks and undertake surveys.
