THIEVES stole an undisclosed sum on money during a break-in at the Greggs bakery at Stairfoot.
Police were called at about 5.20am last Wednesday to reports of a burglary at the bakery in Wombwell Lane.
A police spokesman said: "It is believed that between midnight and 5am that morning, persons unknown entered the premises, causing damage to a door.
"A quantity of money was taken during the incident."
