A WOMAN who volunteers her time doing an unglamorous but very important job has been nominated for a Proud of Barnsley award.
Janet Payling, of Glenville Close, Hoyland, can be seen litter picking in her area come rain or shine.
She has been nominated by staff at the South Area Team in the Love Where You Live category.
Amanda Bradshaw, community development officer at the South Area Team, said: "Cloughfields would be a very different place if it was not for Janet Payling."
