A 16-YEAR-OLD who has just made his first £1,000 after setting up a printing company and clothing range has been nominated for a Proud of Barnsley award.

Cameron Thomas founded CT Design in 2013 after the death of his great-grandmother Mary Dawber.

For a family day out, Cameron designed t-shirts which said 'Dawber's Day Out' and also designed a bag for his mum, who had just joined Slimming World, emblazoned with the phrase 'does my lunch look big in this?'

"It makes a good profit and is definitely something I want to build on when I get older. I have got an interest in business and want to carry that on in college and university and want to become a business studies teacher."
