Mason Holgate and John Stones could return to their first club Barnsley after Everton were drawn at Oakwell in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
Holgate left Oakwell for Goodison Park today while his fellow defender John Stones made the same transfer in January 2013 but is the subject of interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Reds will host the Premier League Toffees in the week commencing August 24. Barnsley came through a penalty shoot-out at Scunthorpe United in the first round on Tuesday.
