A BARNSLEY man's dream to establish his home town as a video gaming capital has moved a step closer.
Josh Slack wants to convert an empty shop on Barnsley Arcade into a social gaming centre - and he's been given council permission this week.
Josh, 23, of Church View, Darfield, said: "There's a lot to do but we hope to be up and running by the end of September.
"We now raising funds and have organised a special event for September 5 and 6 when top gamers will gather at the Hotspot Lounge in Regent Street."
