BARNSLEY midwife Paula Maguire could be crowned fundraiser of the year at this year's Pride of Britain awards.
Paula, 41, won the regional rounds for the money and awareness she has raised for Motor Neurone Disease.
She is credited with bringing the Ice Bucket Challenge to Britain which has helped raise £7m for the MND Association.
Paula will now attend the awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House hotel on London's Park Lane which will be hosted by Carol Vordeman.
The ceremony will be televised on Thursday on ITV.
