CAWTHORNE is blooming beautiful, say residents who have been preparing the village for Yorkshire in Bloom this week.
The village was judged on Tuesday for the annual competition, after a team of green-fingered volunteers worked hard despite the bad weather.
Budding gardeners from Cawthorne Primary School have planted flowers in the millstones at the village boundaries, and in front of the school.
