A FINANCIAL deal to build health centres in Cudworth and Grimethorpe has been agreed.
Approval for works to create the two LIFT centres has been given and builders are due on site next month.
The council’s head of asset management Jeremy Sykes said: “The new centres will make a positive impact on the communities, offering citizens the opportunity to access care services and council information in a one-stop facility.”
The Cudworth centre, on the old Carlton House residential home site, will be the bigger of the two developments. It will house a four GP practice, community health services and access to council services.
