A REFRESHED employment strategy is under development by Barnsley Council to ensure businesses have access to the skills they need to compete and grow.

The More and Better Jobs strategy is connected to the council’s Better Jobs and Business Plan and has four priority areas.

It is hoped the new strategy will also help local people get access to better opportunities for employment and progression.
