IT’S been more than 20 years since Glenn Cook’s nephew died but he is just as determined as ever to raise money for research and help improve people’s chances of surviving brain tumours.
Andrew Cook died in 1992 aged just 19. It affected his uncle Glenn very deeply and soon after his death, Glenn decided to walk the Pennine Way and raised £850 in his memory.
Now more than 20 years later Glenn is still dedicated to the cause and has organised a charity dinner at Barnsley FC’s Legends Suite in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity.
The event is on March 10. For tickets, call Glenn on 07824 492762.
