THE SISTER of a girl given a 50-50 chance of survival at birth is doing a sponsored swim to help the charity which supports people with her sister’s condition.

Chloe Cowlishaw, six, is practising her lengths so she can do as many as she can on February 12 at the Hoyland Leisure Centre.

Her sister, Isabelle Hope Pinder, three, had an operation at Sheffield Children’s Hospital when she was born to correct a hole in her diaphragm - a condition called congential diaphragmatic hernia.

Chloe will be swimming as many lengths as possible for the charity CDH UK, a charity which offers support to those affected by the condition.
