BUSINESSES are being offered advice on the ban on smoking in enclosed public places.
SmokeFree Barnsley has been holding drop in advice days across the borough to help explain the new legislation, which comes into force from July.
Co-ordinator Lynsey Japp said: “We are expecting quite a few licensees in and businesses wanting to know more about the planning requirements for proposed smoking shelters.
“We are working with local firms as much as possible to help them become prepared for July 1.”
The next sessions will be held today at Athersley WMC on Mansfield Road from 11am to 3pm and on Tuesday at Thurnscoe WMC from 11am to 3pm.
