A FAMILY who only moved to Barnsley four months ago are leaving again - because they’re sick of the heat.
The underfloor heating system has been stuck on for four months at the luxury five bedroom house the Pearson family is renting for £1,250-a-month in Lundwood. It’s meant steady temperatures of 25 to 27 degrees inside all winter.
Three generations of the family moved from Selby and didn’t know the area at all, but wanted to be nearer to their respective workplaces and fell in love with the huge house on Lund Lane.
“You can’t adjust it. We can’t sleep. When you walk in the house it hits you like a brick wall. It makes you feel sick.”
