A STEM cell donor from Barnsley has met the leukaemia survivor whose life he helped save.
Christopher Lunn was literally ‘lost for words’ when he met with stem cell recipient Hannah Partos.
As a donor, Christopher’s details had to remain anonymous but after two years, as they had both signed consent forms, Hannah was able to discover the mystery man who she says ‘saved her life’.
Hannah decided to write to Christopher and they met in London, giving Hannah the chance to tell him how she wouldn’t be alive without him.
“She kept saying how she couldn’t thank me enough and I saved her life,” said Christopher, of Granville Street.
