A BARNSLEY dancer is the first boy from his dance school to make it to the finals of a national dance competition.
Eden Coles, 16, from Fairway, Dodworth, wowed judges at a heat in Wallasey to make it through to the finals of Dance Master UK in Blackpool.
And he won’t be attending alone, as three fellow pupils from Lisa Thornley’s School of Dance, Stocks Lane, Barnsley, have also made it to the finals of Miss Dance Great Britain, held as part of the same event.
Eden’s mum Jo Coles said: “I’m very excited for him. There are 52 heats for girls across the country but only ten for boys. At first we thought he might be the only boy in Barnsley to have got through, but we think he might be the second.”
