A MAN has told how an arson attack was carried out on an unoccupied ground flat below his flat.
The resident, who does not want to be named, called the fire brigade after noticing flames from a bedroom window at the flat at Coniston Avenue, Staincross on Tuesday at 10.55pm.
He said an old bed base had been put up against the back door of the flat below with a wheely bin pushed up against it and a can of fuel placed on top.
