MAYOR Brian Mathers will be in fine voice to help launch a new community choir.
It is being developed by Darton resident Debbie Angel, who runs Angels Voices Performing Arts Academy, and will be launched on May 16 at 7pm in Darton Church Hall, Church Street.
Coun Mathers, a singer and a member of Thurnscoe Male Voice Choir, will be there to get the choir off to a good start.
There will be no audition required to join as the choir is open to all who want to enjoy singing with others and an experienced teacher.
