BARNSLEY Football Club is backing a campaign to find more foster carers.
The Reds and Barnsley Council’s fostering team are joining forces to encourage more people to consider becoming foster carers during this year’s Foster Care Fortnight.
Up to May 29 they’ll be taking to social media with the theme ‘time to foster, time to care.’
Every 20 minutes across the UK a child comes into care in need of a foster family, meaning that 9,070 new foster families will be needed in the next 12 months alone.
