THE latest jumping craze is bouncing its way to Barnsley with two rival planning applications submitted for trampoline parks in the town.
Barnsley-based Jump Fit Ltd has submitted the first planning application for a 16,000 sq ft trampoline park at Barugh Green using the former Barnsley College building on Cannon Way.
But Peel Property (Investments) Ltd has also submitted an application for a trampoline park in the former MFI and Powerhouse Retail unit at Twibell Street, off Old Mill Lane.
Peel is the same company which had been planning to build a major supermarket on that same site, but those plans were withdrawn.
