BARNSLEY hospice staff nurse, Julie Fielding is set to run for the Great North Run in September to raise funds for the hospice.
Julie said: “Running the Great North Run will be a big challenge for me as I am a novice runner and only started with a walk to run group last September.
“I care for people at hospice’s inpatient unit and day in day out I can see how the money raised by the hospice supporters helps us to continue to provide the best possible quality of care for the patients and their families.
“So, I decided to support my patients and their families more by taking on this challenge and raising much needed funds for the hospice.
“I am very grateful to everyone who sponsors me to help me to make a real difference.”
