A FAMILY whose young daughter is in hospital battling cancer have received a holiday refund from Butlin’s after the Chronicle stepped in.
Brendan Spencer and his partner Julie Cullen, of Manor View, Shafton, had saved all year for the week-long break at Butlin’s Skegness for them and their six children before four-year-old Isabelle fell ill.
But when she was diagnosed with cancer three weeks ago, the holiday camp had refused to give them their money back for the holiday later this month, even after being told of the youngster’s fight.
