STEP aside Nick Knowles and the DIY SOS team - the Barnsley Builders are on the job.
A 15-strong group of Barnsley folk met at Emmanuel Methodist Church on Monday before embarking on a trip to Romania as volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, a Christian housing ministry devoted to building decent housing.
The kind-spirited group come from all walks of life - from retired school teachers to medical professionals and young people.
The Barnsley Builders will work alongside Romanian families to build decent homes for those living in overcrowded, cramped and damp housing in Comanesti. Many people in that part of Europe have very poor housing and often share with relatives.
