A GOLDTHORPE mum is appealing for help transforming her garden to give her daughter, who suffers from numerous health conditions, somewhere safe to play.
Eight-year-old Shannon Epton suffers from Turner’s Syndrome, leading to development problems. She is also battling asthma, hearing loss, an underactive thyroid and a hole in her heart.
Mum Joanne says that the front garden of their home, on Goldthorpe Road, isn’t a safe place to leave her as other children call her names and the area isn’t secure enough to leave her to play.
If you think you can help Shannon, contact the Chronicle on 734289.
