MORE fundraising events have been organised in aid of a cancer-stricken youngster from Shafton who is fighting for her life.
The community has pulled together in recent weeks for the Spencer-Cullen family, of Manor View, after four-year-old Isabelle was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of the disease called rhabdomyosarcoma last month.
All funds generated will support the family and other children suffering with cancer on the children’s ward at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, where Isabelle has been receiving treatment.
A Facebook page called Isabelle’s Journey, which has been set up to keep friends and family up to date, revealed that the youngster has returned home to Shafton after her latest round of treatment.
