A BROOMHILL woman has paid tribute to the woman she credits with saving her twin brother’s life after finding him collapsed in the street in a pool of blood.
Winnie Thompson, from Everill Gate Lane, said her brother Frank could have died on Monday night if a Jardine Street resident hadn’t spotted him collapsed in the road.
Winnie said the lady, who she knows only as Tracy, was driving home and had turned off Hough Lane onto Jardine Street when she spotted a fallen shape.
Winnie said Tracy thought it could have been a dog at first - but upon closer inspection, discovered it was her brother Frank, laid in a pool of blood having fractured his skull.
