DANCER Eleanor Bechthold will never forget her final performance of an almost 12-year career on cruise ships - because a TV crew was there to make a documentary about it.
Eleanor’s story is to feature on the final episode in the current series of ITV’s documentary The Cruise.
It will focus on her amazing career with Princess Cruises in which she has given more than 5,000 performances, often to 1,000 passengers at a time, and met her husband.
“It was quite strange having cameras there in your face the whole time,” said Eleanor, who has now settled to life back on land living in Kendray, off Doncaster Road, with Canadian husband Favio.
“Being a performer though I just focussed on the performance and tried not to think about it so hopefully it still comes across quite naturally.”
