SEVEN users of a Goldthorpe centre which has helped them to recover from addiction have written a book about their lives and problems.

Life Turns Around was written over two months at Turn Around with the help of writer Adam Strickson and is a book of optimism.

The stories focus on momentous memories in their own lives, including such diverse stories as smashing plates at a holiday camp, pomegranates growing on trees and old friends, as well as the pain, laughter, homelessness, despair and renewal they have experienced.

At the launched at the Dearne Playhouse on Friday Adam Strickson said that he had worked with the writers over six sessions.
