A SECOND problem house has been closed by police in Barnsley, just weeks after officers used the tough new powers on another residential property.
Police were granted permission to close the house on Athersley Crescent, Athersley South, by magistrates at Barnsley last Thursday.
It means anyone who is not authorised to be there faces arrest and even jail, with metal shutters placed on the doors and windows to stop people getting in.
