STUDENT Holly Tandy sailed through the first round of the X-Factor after impressing the judges with her stunning voice.
Holly was just 15 when she auditioned for the show, and sang a rendition of If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys.
She told judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne she once performed to an empty room after everyone walked out.
But after hearing her sing, Simon said: “Can I tell you something Holly Tandy, you define determination. Somebody who went into a club, people walked out and you came back fighting - and you’re 15 years old.”
Louis said she had a great attitude and image, while Sharon said she had time to develop her own style.
Nicole added: “I love you. You were staring at us in our eyeballs and that takes a lot of courage. I think there’s a lot of potential here.”
