Barnsley head coach Paul Heckingbottom will be banned from his technical area for the home games against Middlesbrough on Saturday and Hull City on October 21.
The Reds boss has been given a two-game ban after admitting an FA charge relating to the Millwall match on September 30 when he walked onto the pitch at half-time to speak to referee Oliver Langford. He was sent to the stands for the third time in less than a year after confrontations with opposition staff in games last season against Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves. He will return from his ban at his former club Wednesday on October 28.
Heckingbottom served a one-game ban following the Wolves match when he sat in Oakwell's West Stand for a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town in February and communicated with his coaching staff via an earpiece. But now the punishment has been doubled.
