THIS face is pear-shaped.

Shocked schoolgirl Neve Cooper couldn't bear to eat her pear, when she realised it had a face in it. Fruit was given to the reception class at Pipers Grove primary but Neve, four, was having none of it and the pear has now become a classroom favourite.

Peer closely at the pear and you can see it's got squinting eyes and a bulbous nose and the base has even contorted to make a mouth and teeth.

Senior teaching assistant Joy Dutton said: "When I saw it I said, 'you can't eat him, he's lovely'. We've shown him around everybody."
