THIS CUB made his mark on fellow scout groups when his design won a competition to be turned into a cloth badge.
James Heenan, from the Hoyland Common scout group, beat scores of entrants to the prize at the summer camp in Silkstone.
Mum Teresa Courtney of Valley Way, Hoyland, said ten-year-old James was happy to see his badge come to life.
She said: "He was delighted to win and had a brilliant time at the camp. He has been going to cubs for just over a year and is looking forward to going up to scouts soon."
James' design will now be worn by everyone who attended the camp.
The Hoyland Common group is still looking for volunteers to keep the groups running after two members recently retired.
