BARNSLEY lass and star of Coronation Street Katherine Kelly hopes people will vote for her in the National TV Awards.
Katherine, who grew up in Old Town and learnt how to pull a pint at the Miners' Rest, plays Becky Granger. This year she became the 50th barmaid to serve at the Rovers' Return.
She will go up against three other soap stars to take the crown of outstanding serial drama performance at the ceremony hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald next month.
She said: "This would be the icing on the cake because it's been an awesome year."
