Carlton's Eleanor Simpson and Nicole Dunning of Barugh Green both landed medals at the Yorkshire Regional NDP Gymnastcs Championships at the Barnsley Metrodome.
Ten clubs from all over Yorkshire were competing in Acrobatic and Tumbling Gymnastics. Nine-years-old Eleanor competed in the National Level One category for ages nine to 10 and managed to win the silver medal. She was beaten into second place by the smallest of margins. Winner Lydia Lyman scored 26.4 with Eleanor just point one of a mark behind on 26.3.
Meanwhile, 12-year-old Nicole of Barnsley Gymnastics Club won gold
