Barnsley drew 0-0 at fellow strugglers Peterborough United in a dull game interrupted by a floodlight failure which left them eight points adrift of safety.
The match stopped after 80 minutes due to a floodlight failure apparently caused by a local power outage due to strong winds. The game re-started 17 minutes later.
It was a game of few chances, but third-bottom Peterborough had most of the ball and the better opportunities overall.
Barnsley appeared content to sit deep, defend for most of the game and counter-attack, as they were restricted to long-range efforts against the club with the worst defensive record in English professional football.
The Reds remain second-bottom and have collected 12 points from their first 20 games, with two wins.
New head coach Poya Asbaghi made four changes from the side that lost 2-0 at home to Swansea City in his first game on Wednesday. Mads Andersen and Liam Kitching returned from illness and injury respectively while Claudio Gomes and Carlton Morris also started. Dropping out were Jasper Moon, Romal Palmer, Dominik Frieser and the injured Callum Brittain. Aaron Leya Iseka was left out with illness.
Barnsley reverted to 3-4-3 having used a back four in the previous two games. Jordan Williams was at right wing-back with Callum Styles on the left.
The home side dominated the ball in the first half and found it easy to break through midfield at times. But neither side created clear-cut opportunities.
Devante Cole shot wide from outside the box after a nice touch by Cauley Woodrow then, at the other end, Kai Corbett's tame shot from the left of the box was easily caught by Brad Collins after a cross was half-cleared.
Woodrow had Barnsley's first shot on target on 22 minutes from 25 yards and David Cornell got down to his left to save it then Cornell pushed away a cross by Morris and saw another long-range Woodrow effort go well wide.
At the other end, Jonson Clarke-Harris' shot from the right of the box whistled just wide of the left box after Barnsley were opened up.
Michal Helik headed a Josh Benson free-kick well over the bar from 12 yards out.
After the break, Peterborough saw a series of corners cleared then, at the other end, Morris shot wide from 25 yards after a powerful run down the left wing.
Clarke-Harris came close again on 56 minutes when he was played clean through on the left of the box but Collins rushed out to make a fine one-on-one block. At the other end, Styles fired over the bar from 25 yards out.
Asbaghi then brought Victor Adeboyejo and Palmer on for Benson and Cole.
The match was fizzling out before the floodlight failure then re-started with some chances as home substitute Joel Randall blazed over ten yards out on the right when he should have scored before Woodrow had an effort from a tight angle on the right turned behind.
In injury-time, a powerful Morris shot was well-saved by Cornell.
