BARNSLEY pop idol star Sam Nixon gave youngsters a surprise when he turned up for a birthday tea.
The tv presenter called into Olivia and Charlie Webster's house to tell them and birthday girl Leah Arnold, 12, they had been picked to star on children's show TMI.
The trio had auditioned for the programme two weeks ago but got a bit of a shock when Sam turned up on their doorstep on Tennyson Close, Penistone.
Sue Webster, mum of Olivia, 11, and Charlie, nine, said the kids had a fantastic time with him. "It has been brilliant, they have really enjoyed it so far," she said.
