A DARTON man is pulling his hair out over his latest role on stage as the King of Siam.
Craig Alsop has not only shaved his head for the leading role in 'The King and I' but had a pony tail glued to the back of his head which he's had to wear to work all this week. He has had it done to add something to the character.
Electrical engineer Craig, 46, said: "It's not been too bad because everyone thinks I'm a bit daft anyway. "My wife finds it quite funny and my son's in the show as well.
"I just wanted to do something a bit different, rather than just shaving it all off. That's me, I am a bit different."
The musical is staged at the Lamproom by Barnsley Amateurs Musical Theatre Group from Monday to Saturday, box office: 200075.
