A GIRL who was treated for a tumour at Great Ormond Street Hospital will help set a world record for the most people dressed as Peter Pan.
Madison Corrall-Jackson, five, of Godley Street, Royston, had an operation to remove a tumour from between her brain and optic nerve she she was 16 months old.
To help celebrate Peter Pan Week, Madison and her friends at Parkside Primary School will dress as the character today.
Madison’s dad, Mark Jackson, 32, of Wilthorpe Crescent, Wilthorpe, said: “They removed as much of the tumour as they could and she’s well in herself now but has focal epilepsy where she goes into a trance but she lives quite a normal life.â€
Madison is still under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital and Mark and mum Rachel Corrall, 31, took her for an MRI scan last month.
The hospital has long been associated with Peter Pan and author JM Barrie gave it the rights from the book in 1929.
