JABARI Mills smashed 134 off 121 balls in Darfield’s win at Warmsworth in Division One of the South Yorkshire League.
Mills hit 16 fours and four sixes in Darfield’s 269 then the hosts were bowled out for 160. Joe Stickland took four wickets, Anees Hussain three and Lewis Thorpe claimed two stumpings.
Houghton Main won by 37 runs at Monk Bretton.
Yousaf Rehman made 54 in Houghton’s 199 with the Monks’ Harrison Hayes taking three wickets. Renaldo Brathwaite took four wickets for Houghton.
Penistone fell 69 runs short chasing 287 at Whitley Hall.
Jack Meek took three wickets then Chris Matthewman made 58.
Barnsley Woolley Miners 2nd XI tied at Upper Haugh thanks to a last-wicket stand of 90. Last man Usman Khan hit 51 not out off 26 balls with five sixes while Lucas Slatter was out off the last ball for 68 as both teams finished on 243.
Worsbrough Bridge fell 93 runs short chasing 251 at home to Norton Oakes in Division Three. Liam Levitt took six wickets.
Higham were restricted to 121 chasing 213 against Sheffield Collegiate 3rd XI.
Harry Bamforth took three wickets then Alex Morris scored 50.
Wath 2nd XI posted 240 then dismissed Caribbean Sports for 77. Luke Roddison and James Barnard both scored 75 before Mark Wilson took five for 18.
Rockingham 2nd XI won by nine runs against Bradfield. Peter Lomas took four for 18 to remove the hosts for 97.
Wombwell Main removed Barnsley Woolley 3rd XI for 102 in a six-wicket Division Four win. Tom Peck took four wickets and Joe Armitage three then Jonathan Scaife made 61 not out.
Ross Thornton claimed four catches and a run-out.
Kexborough’s 205 was not enough in a three-wicket home loss to Sheffield University Staff.
Green Moor won by 135 runs at home to Scholes and Harley in Division Six.
Satvir Singh hit 91 off 70 balls with seven sixes during a stand of 176 with Scott Jones who made 89. Moor posted 280 then there were three wickets each for Satvir Singh and Satinderpal Singh.
Dearne chased 155 for an eight-wicket win at Norton Oakes 2nd XI in Division Eight. Ben Whitehouse scored 69 not out with 13 fours.
Monk Bretton 2nd XI defended 131 by dismissing Eden Grove Parklands for 97.
Houghton Main 2nd XI beat Wombwell Main 2nd XI for 24 runs. Balakumar Varatharajan made 53 off 52 balls and Ben Hiles 55 from 48 in Houghton’s 200.
Shokoor Ahmadzai took four wickets for Houghton with Wombwell’s Rob Owen hitting 91 off 82 balls.
Elsecar 2nd XI defended 130 by removing Sheffield United for 92 in Division Two. George Dixon took four for 19.
