SEVEN Barnsley Ladies players played for Yorkshire as they began their County Championship campaign with a 64-7 win against Northumberland in Driffield on Sunday.
The Barnsley players were Becky Patrick, Alix Taylor-Roberts, Jess Taylor-Roberts, Amy Needham, Jasmin Brankin, Beth Arnold and Danie Tierney. Jess Taylor-Roberts scored two tries and Patrick one while Alix Taylor-Roberts kick seven conversions.
Yorkshire are now due to visit Staffordshire and Lancashire on the next two weekends. The final is due to be at Twickenham on June 21.
