OLIVER Rowland will look to tighten his grip on the Formula E championship title in Shanghai this weekend.
The Penistone man, 31, is currently 77 points clear in first place after nine of the 16 races in the global electric car championship. He has so far won four of the races, finished second in three while time penalties cost him much higher finishes in the other two. There are races in China on Saturday and Sunday.
If Rowland continues his dominance, he could potentially go into the following event in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 21 with a mathematical chance of taking the title there with four races left.
The series finishes with double-headers in July in Berlin and London.
