Barnsley midfielder Jon Russell scored for Jamaica in the Unity Cup final but they lost on penalties against Nigeria at Brentford’s ground on Saturday.
Russell made it 2-2 which was the final score but the Reggae Boyz lost the shoot-out 5-4.
Jamaica are now due to play next Saturday in the British Virgin Islands in a qualifying game for next summer’s World Cup, then another at home to Guatemala the following Wednesday.
They then go to the CONCACAF Gold Cup which runs through June and July in the USA and Canada.
