TEENAGER Lillie Jackson is hoping to make her hometown proud after being named Miss Barnsley 2025.
The 18-year-old, from Silkstone, is set to compete in her first modelling competition but has made a name for herself as an influencer on social media site TikTok - modelling clothes for brands such as Pretty Little Thing and Rebellious.
She’s also worked as a support artist alongside her mum, Michelle, on Emmerdale.
And Michelle says that her daughter - who is set to compete in the national final of the Miss British Isles in Chester later this month - is hoping to make her hometown proud.
She added: “This is Lillie’s first modelling competition which she is looking forward to it and Angel Couture based in Penistone has kindly loaned her two dresses for the competition and one was worn by Alex Murphy from Dancing on Ice which is amazing.
“Another local company, K3 Dentist, kindly whitened Lillie’s teeth for the competition and Natalie Robinson Photography based in Silkstone is doing a free photoshoot which is taking place in Barnsley town centre.
“Lillie is already doing influencing on TikTok and Instagram and is already modelling clothes on there.
“She just wants to inspire other girls to follow their dreams and do what they want to do in life and be happy.”
