AN artist has picked up another prestigious honour as he has been selected to be the official artist of the British and Irish Lions men’s team.
Ben Mosley, who also works with his beloved Barnsley FC and followed Team GB at the last Olympics, will now head to Australia to follow the tour Down Under this summer.
The Lions are a select team of the best rugby union players from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland and only tour every four years - taking on the Aussies, New Zealand and South Africa on an alternate basis.
Coached by Andy Farrell this year, they will be looking to repeat the victory from the last Australia tour in 2013.
Ben will be there to try to capture the best of the Lions’ spirit.
Ben said: “There will be some involvement with the players but I am there to capture the best moments and the camaraderie.
“The Lions are special - it’s the best of the best players and there will be 40,000 British and Irish fans there to cheer them on.”
