FURQAN Shafiq carried his bat with 102 not out off 69 balls in a home win for Hoylandswaine over Scholes in the Huddersfield Premiership.
Shafiq hit 11 fours and sixes as they chased 184 in a seven-wicket victory.
Michael Finan took three wickets.
Hoylandswaine chased 197 for a three-wicket win at Kirkburton in the Twenty20 Cup quarter-final.
Samit Patel top-scored with 36 then Ben Kohler-Cadmore made 32 not out off 12 balls with four sixes including two in succession to win the game with three balls left. Umer Yaqoob had taken three wickets.
Callum Honeyman scored 131 not out off 127 balls in Hoylandswaine 2nd XI’s win at Thurstonland in the Conference.
Faisal Irfan added 62 in Swaine’s 308 then Saif Ur-Rehman took four wickets to remove the hosts for 159.
