BARNSLEY teenager Imogen Wolff competed in two national championships.

The 19-year-old from Silkstone Common finished fourth in the under 23s race at the National Time-Trial Championship in Aberaeron, Wales.

She completed the 27k course in an hour and eight minutes, slipping out of podium contention late on.

Three days later she competed in the National Road Race Championships.

It was a 128k race in Aberystwyth.

Imogen finished ninth in the senior race.

She missed a breakaway group and was part of the chasing pack, finishing 51 seconds behind the winner.

Meanwhile, Birdwell Wheeler Trevor Mayne took on the VTTA Yorkshire 25-mile open time-trial near Thirsk.
