HAVE-a-go mum Samantha Nicholson’s life was made a misery by yobs who told her that her face did not fit.
But she has been convicted of assault after she confronted three of the teenagers who were tormenting her family.
Samantha, 31, had only lived at Lund Lane, Lundwood, for a week, but it was long enough for local youths to decide she was not welcome.
On one occasion, a 16-year-old knocked on her door and said: “What are you staring at? If your face doesn’t fit, you can’t live here. We decide who lives here.”
On August 23, Samantha came to the end of her tether and slapped three teenagers in the face. Her partner had earlier that night chased a group of kids down the street after they threw something at a window. When they came back, Samantha confronted them.
She was arrested a week later and has now been convicted of three counts of assault.
