BARNSLEY Civic is set to host its first winter charity ball in the run up to its 150th birthday.
The evening will support the current cultural and community mission of Barnsley Civic and also help raise essential funds to safeguard this cherished landmark for generations to come.
Taking place on Saturday November 8, from 7pm until 1am, Barnsley Civic will be transformed into a Sleeping Beauty-themed ballroom.
Barnsley Civic is a registered charity and relies on the generosity of supporters and customers to continue its work.
This annual fundraising event will directly support creative opportunities for local people and protect this important piece of Barnsley’s civic heritage.
Dan Winder, the Civic’s CEO and artistic director, said: “I can’t wait to welcome you to Barnsley Civic for the first of what promises to be an annual highlight in Barnsley’s social calendar.
“This is a chance to relax with friends and colleagues and enjoy the very best hospitality that Barnsley Civic has to offer - all whilst supporting the very best of local causes.”
