A MAN has been remanded in custody having been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Jump.
At around 1am on Sunday, police were informed of a stabbing on Hall Avenue.
It is reported that the male victim received stab wounds to his back and was taken to hospital with injuries which are described as serious but not life-changing or life-threatening.
Jayd Hicks, of no fixed abode, appeared at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court the following morning and was remanded.
The 31-year-old will appear for a plea hearing at Sheffield Crown Court on December 15.
